End of November

It's finally the end of November and hubby's birthday today. It's been a lovely, mellow, relaxing day together as a family. I've finally managed to finish the girls advent calendar and they're both filled with choc bits ready for tomorrow.
My biggest challenge is to make some effort to be ready for starting Journal Your Christmas tomorrow. I still haven't gotten round to preparing my album so I'm behind after all, plus I'm back to working every day now for the foreseeable future just when I got used to having Mondays off every week.
At least I feel recovered from being ill all last week and caught up on some housework which puts me in a better frame of mind, just the ironing to tackle now. :(

It's Friday!

Well, after being ill all week, I'm starting to feel better and will have a busy weekend catching up with the housework and chores. Also have to finish preparing advent calendars for the kids.

I now have my supplies ready to start preparing my album for JYC 2008, which is another job to do over the w/e - so not much watching TV.

Journal your Christmas

Journal your Christmas

Getting myself ready. Intended to do this last year but never happened. This year I will be prepared in advance and have some fun and hopefully something to share and look back at next year.

Long time no see

Spring break is over and back to school on Monday. Looking forward to getting back to routine.
Has a great time at a crop today - so enjoy a day away from the house and uninterrupted scrapping. Didn't get much completed but lots of ideas and half finished work. Am playing with my Cricut this evening , need to get used to it and use it more.

P.S.Yes the bedroom got finished and is beautiful now. Just need to take some photos for peeps to see and get rid of one item of furniture in a couple of weeks.

Back to school...

Back to school today after the halfterm break. Glad to get away from decorating for a few hours and all the topsy-turvy that goes with it. Didn't get round to being creative at all, so will be glad to get out on Thursday for my evening crop (note to self- must get organised for that).

Plus my social life gets even more exciting with a school PTA quiz and curry evening on Sat night - better do some revision or just sit and sip my wine instead.
